Who We Are

Grand Family Coalition is a non-profit network of Grandparent and other kin raising kin. Grandfamilies or kinship families are families in which children reside with and are being raised by grandparents, other related family members, or adults with whom they have a close family-like relationship, such as a God parent and the biological parent is not in the home.

Grand Family Coalition’s Mission:

To build a community of support around grandparents, other relatives raising kin, and the children in their care by creating a place where grandfamilies and services connect. In doing so, we bring awareness to our community concerning the needs of grandfamilies.

Grand Family Coalition’s Vision:

That Grandfamilies are regarded as a fundamental and vital part of our community so that the children grow up in a safe, loving, and familiar home.

Purpose:

To provide programs, social activities, and a collaborative of community resources, encouraging a community of grandfamilies that promotes positive thinking and emotional wellbeing.

We know we can do the job, but we don’t have to do it alone!

Grand Family Coalition, Inc is a non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status.
Your donations are tax-deductible under the Internal Revenue Service tax code.
